Pulsar OS Roadmap

This document outlines the roadmap and process Pulsar OS will follow to introduce its upcoming editions.

1. Bitten Fruit (In Progress)

Bitten Fruit is dedicated to replicating the macOS user experience.
To be production-ready, it needs to:

  • Have a fully working recovery system
  • Include a community app store
  • Include Sayri
  • Resolve the d2d hover issue
  • Implement GNOME animations

Once these tasks are completed, work will begin on the next flavor:

2. TubeOS Edition (Not Started Yet)

This edition focuses on bridging two worlds: NAS and TV.
TubeOS will allow you to comfortably manage a PC as a NAS, featuring an updated version of CasaOS, a web-based installer, and, in the Arch edition, Plasma Bigscreen configured by default.
It will offer both Arch and Debian builds.

3. Wintux Edition (Windows-Style) (Not Started Yet)

A Windows replica using KDE Plasma, built on Arch or Debian.
